Zhen Huang is a Chinese artist. She studied environmental design as an undergraduate and used to be an architect. She began to expand her creative forms in 2021 and then started her postgraduate studies in MA Fine Art in 2022. Currently she mainly creates through installation, sculpture, and moving image.

Base on the asynchrony between times, regions and lives, Zhen experiences the gaps and overlaps. She is curious about how the tiny individuals in the presence of the times are being held or confronted. During the years of architect, Zhen likes to research the relationship between individual and city. She is skilled in how to guide the behaviour and feelings of individuals through the space.

In Zhen's artwork, you can see her use of everyday items. The everyday life is the fundamental of Zhen's creation, and creation is her response to the everyday life. Her work is a reinterpretation of the smallness that exists behind grand narratives. She aims to find the vitality of ordinary man from the repetitive and trivial daily routine.
